Marion “Frank” Rudy is the innovator of Nike’s iconic Air cushioning technology and, on the Air Max 97, the brand celebrates Rudy’s accomplishments. The shoe features a white mesh upper with fiery orange leather overlays matched with tan and navy overlays. A grey suede mudguard and a tan overlay with a small black Swoosh on the sides adds to the look. An air pressure barometer hangtag nods to the former aerospace engineer’s achievements.
